What Customers Say About 50 x AG13/LR44/A76 Alkaline button cell battery:

Yes, the packaging is cheap and I think you should expect as such at this price point. At this price, I really don't care. (The batteries are stuck to a sheet of paper). I use these in an Audio Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone and conduct oral history interviews. When I lend the mic to my students, they forget to turn it off about 50% of the time after the interview. The only thing you should be careful of is to fully scrape of the sticker goo from the battery before using it.
It was a great deal for a set of Christmas ornaments that I had that all needed new batteries this year, 18 in all. With a 3 year shelf life on them I am set. 50 Batteries for less than the price of 2 at the big blue box store. Plus I have enough left over for next year.
I ordered batteries and they came. They were Maxell batteries and seem to be okay.
So, turns out the unit was bad and probably not the batteries. This was a waste of money as these batteries are useless since they only last around 3 days before needing to be replaced. Just be aware they are Maxell batteries and do not come looking like the item pictures. I did order a brand name battery and they also only lasted 3 days in the timer unit. On the sales slip that came with the order there is a note: `These are alkaline batteries, there is no alkaline lithium batteries, its a typo'.These batteries like the other generic ones I have tried from Amazon partners only lasted around 3 days.
While I did not receive the type of battery listed, the batteries will probably last. These are the second batteries I ordered to try and haven't tried them yet. And I see they finally corrected the description of these batteries to remove the word 'lithium'. The brand name batteries I have used in the past lasted easily up to six months. 12/13/09 - updating review.
I replaced the timer unit and now the first batteries are lasting like they should. They come in the standard Maxell packaging.Received Maxell batteries.
They work well. Dont know it they still work. this is much cheaper than you would get anywhere. I have a ton extra ones from last year.
